Can any bro out there got any suggestions, methods or wat to add? blush.gif

I noe that they are quite harmless and can be a good scavangers, but dunno why they seems to multiple more and more.
Yuo noe when some things get too much, it becomes a pest sad.gif

Fyi, currently my tank got 1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang, 1 hawkfish, 1 green spoted mandrian, 1 whitetail angel, 1 bi-color bleeny and 3 chromis. tongue.gif

And my corals are mix of lps, softies and 2 monti plate. blush.gif

So what can i add (must be reefsafe) or do to reduce or control their population? bowdown.gif bowdown.gif

I suspect that it might due to me overfeeding, as a result, I reduce the amount i feed but..... sad.gif

I think a Dottyback might help... but Dottybacks are aggressive fishes... so future add-on fishes might be a problem... tongue.gif

Anyway, bristleworms are beneficial to the system, so you sure you wanna eradicate them?

So they are actually reefsafe rite? As in they will not harm my corals even if there are tons of them in my tanks. Just asking to confirm. blush.gif

Cos from what i have read, some bristleworms are good and some are bad.

And mine looks like the one in the pics and yes! some are really fat! ohmy.gif

they are coral-safe but not necessarily fish-safe. they like to sneak up to fishes, especially small ones like gammas and gobies, and have them for supper. they also have spikes all over so that whenever you touch the rocks, you get pricked. it will be a real good idea to get rid of them. u would normally want to do that before you add in any new rocks, but since the rocks are already in your tank, one way is to set up traps for them. traps can supposedly be home made using normal pvc pipes. i have seen diy articles on this before but not sure if i can still find them. if i find it i will post it for you. u can also try searching it in the web yourself.

smile.gif It's quite normal that they hide during the photoperiod.

In my last tank, I usually see my boxer shrimp pair during the moonlight on period. During the moonlight period, the boxer shrimp pair will surely come out of their hiding place and inspect the LR/sands for foods. smile.gif

just make sure you clean it out every day its as easy as can be you just pull the cap off one end dump worms and bait out rebait seal and put back in the article states you should place close to rock structure or in areas with lots of worms.
NO PROBLEM
