Is it consider a average maint SPS.
As long as your parameters are stable, shouldn't be an issue.
I would snip away the top part to allow nicer growth.

That's what i'm considering can i accomplish it using a scissors or must i buy somethings from AM??

You can use a pair of cutter to trim it. Not neccessary to buy special tools.
But if you are really into SPS fragging going forward, you may invest in a SPS cutter from RD.
100% Stainless steel.. so long as you wash away the salt water.. no rust at all!!!
Not sure if they still have it.
