Is chiller a necessity to keep clams...

Hi guys,

I'm interested to keep clams but not sure if its necessary to have a chiller in place. blush.gif

At what temperature does clamps suited best...

Btw, how much does a clam cost at most lfs shop...

You need bright lighting like MH or a lot of T5 to keep clams. End up your water temp will rise, so a chiller is highly recommended. Price of clams $25 and up.

Bro.. which chiller is quite reliable and low power consumption?

Electricity bills are ex nowadays. Looking for ways to reduce bills and not willing to salvage my interest.. sweatdrop.gif

For budget chillers can consider Hailea or Resun. For reliable chillers most people using Artica. If on a budget, you can try looking for 2nd hand chillers in the Bazaar section.
