Unknowingly, one of my clams attached to a rock that it was beside it. Now it doesn't face the direction good for viewing. Is there a safe way to remove the clam from the rock?

Have to slowly coax it to release its foothold on the rocks.. usually i will start by slowly twisting it...

Thanks, tank crashed after a pump trip almost 2 years ago now. sad.gif

Just got my tank re-started and put in fish for CNY. Looking for inspiration on what to keep....want to keep the maintenance low and have a more forgiving tank inhabitants....

Hey bro... you're back!!! wink.gif))

Try stuffing a small piece of rock under the clam and the base to "nudge" the clam out of its position... basically its to irritate the fella out of its place... tongue.gif

Yes, only because my tank has been an eyesore for the longest time, and it was CNY and my daugther asked me to buy pink fishes. Haha, but the feeling is good, but now still wondering what to keep. smile.gif

That's a good idea. Will try that. A little chicken to try the cutting approach.
