i have lost one clam last month plus ago then i try again . . . .
but seem that the clam not doing well i wonder what is the problem

i got 2 clam at 1.5 ft deep on sand bed side by side. with T5 light X 2 (blue)
1 have been there 2 month plus
the other one 1 month plus

the first one found that it open shorter and shorter. then clam dont close up that much as last time i just buy.
normally if happen i put hand in to arrange some thing clam will close up if my hand is near buy it didnt just retract its flash.

2nd one is perfect

but might be soon or later.

my water temp 26 to 29. there is one time hit 30 be as my fan but working that day.
i got chiller but didnt install as it is in air con room. some time temp might hit 24.

what can i do to save my clam? or what goes wrong.

Assuming ur water condition is ok, the problem is your lightings.

2 x Blue T5 is insufficient. U need at least 1 tube of white T5.

I've been keeping clams without chiller, using 2 T5 (1 white, 1 blue).
