Just bought 2 pieces of US zoanthus without live rock attachments at the base. Do I need to look for suitable live rocks to place these corals? Or do I simply leave them in the gravels as they are? Suggestions from experienced reefers would be appreciated. help-whip.gif

I usually super glue them to LR fragments otherwise they get blown around by my wavemakers.

Thanks for the suggestion. Are the super glue the type commonly sold or are they specially made for underwater use? If you glue the stolons, which contain living tissues, directly to the live rocks, does it not irritate the corals?

I use the super glue gel. The gel form does not get dispersed when in water. I glue the bottom of the tissue mat to the rock... So far ok.

Thanks. My US zoanthus are still doing fine without rock bases but I will certainly try your method if I can find suitable live rocks.

bro what do u mean by superglue gel? What brand do you use? Is it poisonous?

Can I get it from hardware shops?
