Hi everyone,

I love these quirky fish and did not know that one could successfully keep them in a tank until I saw this thread. Been reading quite a bit on them and would like to know where would be a good LFS to start with buy frogfishes?

Any recommendations?

hi,

actually frogfish are normally kept in standalone tanks meaning tanking keeping the frogfish itself only as when kept with others fishes or inverts.. the frogfish normally takes the others as lunch... it can take in 1.5x of size prey.........u might want to re consider this before proceeding to get one.

do look into the water conditions to check if you are able to upkeep the water conditions as these foggies produces massive waste load. a good skimmer , temp control and water changes is a must smile.gif no copper ...

a gd lfs would be ML if u stay in the west tongue.gif

cheers
