hey guys....
how do i remove the email updates for a particular thread?
each time the thread is updated an email will be sent to me,
(i used to tick the option below of enable email notification of replies)
how do i remove it?

Go to "My Controls" (beside "view new posts")
On the left column, last section under "subscriptions", click on either 'topics" or 'Forums"

select the topics with the check box and then click the "unsubscribe with selected" option

Uncheck Include a copy of the post when emailing me from a subscribed topic
in My Controls --> Email Settings -->

if you totally want to remove all notifications, just uncheck the last box in the email notifications.
that will work.

if just want to unsubscribe from a topic, follow the steps that I have given above.

Or change your email address, but the server will be flooded with unreachable emails
