mine 3pcs up lorry liao. the ultras are too small and very diff to rear. have to feed pyto daily which also pollutes the water also.
That is $180 gone down the drain. Any body with such experience? Could it again be the dreadful clam disease?

Both mine, from am, doing fine. they do need alot of phyto, so when i feed i still leave my skimmer on, at least the water not so dirty. My maxima is very small too, crocea plam size.

don't have to dose phyto everyday....only 1 or 2 times a week would do.....if you scare pullute water, that a small container of your tank water, and dose phyto till there is slight green tint to the water.....bubble the water and place the small clams in the container.....when the water clears up a bit should be ok to put them back to the tank......
for me i don't mind dosing directly to tank and i can feed by sun corals and acans with that.....got my good trusty RM skimmer to take care of the access for me.....
I want this frag

Its from the Iwarna nite shipment. believed AM and Iwanrna shared the same shipment. My light is already 250W and the clams are place at the top level.

My lights are about 12 inches from the water surface and I place my clams on the sandbed ( at least 24 inches from the water surface)... they have been doing well... Clams need lights... but can do pretty well even if they are on the sandbed...
