The clams would look ok and then 1 fine day , 1 started to shrink, the rest will follow .
I find that if I left the a little shrunken ( just starting to shrink ) clam in the tank , the next one will follow
very soon . If I remove the it at the initial stage , the others will take longer before showing symptons.
I managed to save some of my clams during the first round of attack by removing the affected clams
at the early stage. I can't save them from a secong round of attack after introducing a new clam 6 mths
later as I'm tied down with work , thus unable to remove the affected clam till too late.
Anyone else has any experience to share on this?

well, at least for scarab and me, it was the dreaded clam disease as the rest of the clams succumbed to the disease along with the new additions.

Personally, i have got it once also, but didn't give up....:p....now whenever i find my clams behaving funnily, i would take it out for inspection, and if cannot find anything wrong, do a fresh water dip on it...seems to be working as my last dip was 6 months back and currently they still look quite happy and healthy.....:p
