Nice! is that a jann's pipe? or bluestripe? Bro Happy, he the only pipe in ur tank? any other of it's kind? smile.gif

They are bluestripe and I've 2 of them actually. I like to buy LS in pair if possible so that they're not too lonely. biggrin.gif

Yup, true... but remember that pipes when paired they turn agressive to other of it's kind..... so think u can keep only a pair than a group. smile.gif

dats a blue strip pipe.... henry once brought another diff species of blue strip in which a white line was running through it's top length! very swee and the tail pattern was very vivid!
janns and blue strip bought seperately from diff sources wun get along well, they will fight even when there's plently of hiding places ard! so far, once kept yellow banded pipe, multi oranged banded pipe, 2 species of blue strip, janns pipe, gator pipe, some razor fishes and they got along very well, feeding on frozen mysis until my tank crashes and along it took away my 4 pairs of reidi & tigertails. cry.gif

can i ask is it true that they dont really fare well in tanks which have much larger fishes like tangs?

it's best to keep them in a species tank bcos of their feeding nature. they are slow takers , just like seahorse smile.gif

mmm okay.. are they strong swimmers?? was thinking if i could put them in my zoos tank with 300l/hr turnover in a 1.5ft?

I got a question to ask u
i've got 1 blue stripe the same as urs but i can't tell if its a male or a female cos its tooo small >.<
I guess that it might be a male cos its like having a belly but i can't comfrim cos i only seen this little one ^^

whoa Joe u got 2 pairs?!? blink.gif biggrin2.gif

They need lotsa pods... if I'm not wrong they can consume as much as 500 pods in a day... so be prepared... the longest one survive in my tanks for 3-4mths I think... happy.gif
