Hi everyone!!

I have detected some strange activity on the forum and server lately and although there have been no disturbance to any operation of the forum till now, I've reported all the strange activity to IPS...

We do suspect that there maybe external parties attempting to hack into our forum but these attempts have been futile against the forum's high level of security features in place.

While we continue to observe the situation, all members are advised to :

1) Not click on any links forwarded by another anonymous member.
2) Not click on any links posted in ambigous newly posted threads (much like those started by Spamming Bots).
3) Report any strange activitity including recieving strange unsolicitated PMs.

I will post any new findings here once I get any more information from IPS who are monitoring the server and forum at the moment, we should be able to find out the real cause by Sunday.

Shouldn't label them as hackers..........should be crackers instead.
Or probably script kiddies.

I will post the rest of equipments (from my storeroom) shortly...

Balance item:

All item MUST CLEAR..

1a. PURPLE-UP U.P. @$28 now only $15 EA.

2a. used CO2 cylinder (think is 2L?) - 2 Set. still in good condition.. $10 each one set

2b. RM Denitrator can also use as CA Reactor too..going for S$100 - (With re-circulation MaxiJet pump, found my pump and can support PROBE)

2c. Giesemann NOVA II MH-150w (slim) - 1 Set @$130 S$110 Ea



mORE ITEM WILL PUT-UP WHEN I clear my storeroom.
2d. SEIO 820 with euro-bracing mounting bracket - 1 set @$15 ea. [Added]

2e. Another lot of Aqualight 10K X3 , Aqualight Blue X1 and AquaZ Blue Pro x1....all for S$30 [Added]

Its been now confirmed that there are parties who are trying to infiltrate the forum and take-over the administration and create havoc 30.gif 30.gif ... but somehow, probably due to the advance software we're currently using, there seem to be no effects on the entire forum... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Advice from IPS is to continue monitoring the situation and they would update me whenever they have anymore info... smile.gif

Severe Warning from IPS:

We have detected intensified abnormal activity over the past 12 hours and IPS have indicated that the forum might be taken offline without prior warning in the event that they feel that the forum security will be breached.

We are currently on HIGH ALERT (machiam DEFCON 5 biggrin2.gif biggrin2.gif )

All members are advised not to click any links in anonymous PMs or newly set-up threads.

As we continue to observe and monitor such activity, IPS have assured me that there would be no detrimental effects on our user's systems, so we can all still surf AROL with a peace of mind... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Will update once I get anymore news... happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif
