Recently all my anthais has gone missing and all my small fishes have gone missing. And i do hear clicking sound so i suspect it is a mantis. I have lost alot including my favorite flame angel and my moorish idol. Basically only hear clicking sound but cannot see which rock it stay in. Any pro out there got any ways of catching it. Wanted to get a X-terminator but dun know if it is effective.Thanks

After 1.5 years of clicking I finally saw my mantis shrimp... currently trying the trick for crabs that henry posted in his sponsor forum. Did you manage to remove urs?

me have a mantis in my tank before & always hide inside a LR hole but everytime when trying to take out the LR , the mantis will faster then me to run away from the LR ... after few months it growing bigger & the big tail were stuck at the LR hole so easily to remove it ... ate up few of my hawk fish & crab ...
a freind are putting an octopus to eat the mantis ... then add a moral eel to eat the octopus and said moral are more easy to remove from a tank
dun think this is the correct method but just for reference oni ...
a product "Crab-X" if not mistaken will kill all shrimp & crab but never affected to coral and fish that me using before ... maybe this will help ...
p/s : me never hear any "Click" sound from my mantis shrimp but have it with my pistol shrimp ...

same experience here..n it really sucks.. all my anthias have also went missing due to mantis..i need a way to remove it..that thing is really big..about 5 to 6cm..

no luck but occasionally still hear the sound, all my hard core fishes survive. i dun know how big liao, hopefully not too big.
what a crab x where u get it. Try terminator x before like no luck.
