help guys... i have a bobbit worm in my tank... it dug a tunnel under my rock work.. is it harmful?? or should i remove it???saw its head come out before look like alien somemore the jaw can open damn big...

for those who nvr see it before here is a pic...(mine the jaw is much longer...)

Bro,

Better remove it, they will eat anything within reach.

But suggest using tongs or double gloves. ;)

:cry: :cry: but stp NS duty so no time to remove it leh.... unless i take off but my sergeant wun let me take off unless got very important things leh... and my fren sick then kena confine sia dun wan that to happen to me also... :offtopic:

but how to??? its in a burrow in the sand under the rock work..... will a crab trap help??? i'm thinking a creating a trap with a trap door that can only push in.... but i read from a book that it can grow to 1 m when its head is only 3cm diameter sia....

It's gonna be tough... even if you set a trap, you'll be surprised how quick and how agile this fella can be to retract back into the sand... best would be to lure it out... maybe use prawn meat and try to attract it to come out as much as possible ( if half it's body still in the sand, you'll have a hard time ) den maybe just use scissors to snip the fella into half... :devil: :devil:

wah!!! then all the JUICE will flood my tank... omg... lol..... ok.... will do a major rescape after CNY..... i saw it retract into the sand before just like those coco worm super fast... but i think it dun have good eyesight coz i was standing in front of the tank when it came out but i only move abit only he retract back to its burrow....

Tell the sergeant if the worm kill your $1000 fish whether he willing to pay or not lah.. :p

lol.... like that only we put things inside his SBO making it heavier, throw him in muddy water, use our sir's order to over write his order.... he very sadist 1 lo small small thing other sergeant say can but he is always the 1 who opposed it....

That is almost an inch wide. Kind of scarly to me. Never seen one in real life before.

btw... will do it after CNY coz scare after the major project the LS become stress then relative come my hse see the corals all close 1 and fishy hiding lol...
