Hi can i ask does a dead sps coral smells like all other corals with a fowl smelling stuffs???They die by turning white izzit???

it does smell abit .... but genrally it should not stink the whole house..

I find that even a live one already smells
The smell sticks on your fingers even after washing with soap.

I think the best is you should take a whiff of a live one so that you know what its like.
A dead one would smell very different. Good luck.

Maybe an alive one smells dead and a dead one smells like nothing?

Billet-Not true... Dead one stinks... especially the ones that are necrotic...

those that are dying with tissue rotting will smell....those that are completely dead and are completely white should smell just like any rock....

but even healthy sps that slims a lot will smell one la!

Sorry to dig up my own old thread.After i have experienced with acros,the acros smell and yeah they will stink your hand and wash with soap the smell will still stick to it.Sometimes i just type with the stench still on my hand.Only montis don't smell bad.

I have seen that last time i used to talk unprofessionally as it is more like a kid(last time used to play loads of online games).I apologise for my unprofessional talking last time.
