If I am not wrong, no matter how many coralline algae you seed in your tank if the condition is not right, they will still not grow... They are actually quite easy to grow if your kh and ca is in check..
And ask for rocks better, those scraps might not be enough...

Try using Ultralife Red Slime Remover... Will eliminate the Red Slime... Try to increase flow and increase skimming... Try getting from any reefer that is selling their LRs lor... Or maybe look for a small piece will do...

blink.gif I think you should refrain from buying corals/fishes for the time being.

Do you have any fauna in your tank currently? Are you still feeding the fauna?
What water do you use for top up? DI, RO or just tap water?

Are you using PO4 media for your setup? Any readings of PO4 for your tank?
What is your NO3 reading too?

I think it would be in your best interest to directly solve the root of algae issues in your tank smile.gif

huh.gif Dechlorinated tap water? Meaning tap water and Anti-Chlorine?

I think if that's the case, that could possibly be the root of your algae issues. There are phosphate in Singapore water supply, but in minute quantity. Overtime if you just use dechlorinated water, PO4 might just accumulate in your tank even though you are using a "branded" testkit to test for PO4 smile.gif

Dechlorinated tap water is not di water

di water is distill water

if you use distill water, you dont need to use dechlorinating solution already
