hey guys,

anyone ever experienced having a shrimp in your clam? coz i have a pistol shrimp (i think) living inside my squamo. never noticed it until today when one of my students pointed it out to me. its weird man...i remember seeing a molted shell of a pistol shrimp once, but i brushed it off as a hitch hiker. which it is, if you think about it.

clam is doing well, opening with good mantle extension. sometimes it gapes in the evening. i wonder if the pistol shrimp is irritating the clam.

any knows if its harmful?

not really dowan the shrimpy. its actually quite cool, the more i look at him.

also, i don't think sand sifters eat shrimps. i try to get a clearer pic, but its hard coz mine is a point and shoot cam.
