Hi

I knew you guys in Singapore would be the best to ask about this and i think there are a few of you on here who keep SPS under T5:)

Problem i have is i have set-up a nano for SPS 18x12x12 and i tried using a 150 watt Metal Halide over it but it just heated the water to much....the only way it doesn't overheat it is if its nearly 2 foot above the waters surface...then the light output isn't that great..it looks very shadowy rather than intense

So my Option is T5s

I have going spare a Deltec Megatwin T5 unit twin 55 watt
and also have 2 18 watt 50/50 T5 compacts going spare

Would this sustain SPS???

Thanks

Elliott

Since the depth is only 12" hight then there should be no problems using T5 except that the T5 tubes need to change around 9 months or earlier depending on how long the photoperiod is. wink.gif

Ya..I also agreed with bro Tangs biggrin2.gif .

T5 should be more than enough to sustain SPS with such tank's depth wink.gif !
