Oh no... You changed your avatar??!!sigh....
Anyway bro... Your snail seems to have one breathing siphon(the longer one) and two shorter tentacle like structures beside it(eye stalks)...right??pic is a lil small....But if my description is correct then you have a Nassarius snail. Very useful detrivores in a reef tank.Anthony Calfo also mentioned something about them possibly being a tiny 'conch'...the only reef safe one that he has seen to date...either way its one of the 'good' guys chair.gif chair.gif ...i have one in my tank too..could have used a partner...

i shall pray.gif for it... must be travelling somewhere in S'pore's sewage system...hopefully it makes it to sea.... cry.gif

i know this is off topic.... but what is your sea fan called..??

Someone asked for the exact same ID on Wetwebmedia.... Not sure whether it was Mr Fenner who answered it but he said it was a nassarius or a 'tiny conch'...can't remember the name of that... those had smooth shells too... maybe the tiny conch is the one you are referring to..euplica????

Either way its supposed to be beneficial....
